We are always trying to improve our DSounds, and because we are not satisfied with just appearances, we have replaced the wrapping film finish with a “real” material such as aluminum. Super-strongly glued aluminum sheets (curl-proof), shaped, filed, brushed, and treated with gun oil to please the most sophisticated clientele. The process of making it is definitely more labor intensive, but for our DS or ID this and more!
